Sacramento L5 Society

The Sacramento L5 Society chapter of NSS will host the final 50th anniversary “Breakfast on the Moon” event, a live Zoom-based celebration of the Apollo program. This time, we’ll be celebrating not just the magical Apollo 17 mission, not just the end of all the Apollo missions, but also that very last step off the lunar surface. The 50 years that have passed since that final step have only underscored just how incredible those missions were! “Breakfast” refers to the early start time in the USA, chosen to accommodate international participants.

When: Saturday December 10, 2022, 7 AM Pacific Standard Time

Where: online Zoom webinar

Register at: Apollo 17 registration

Preregistration is required. Audience seating is limited to 500, and it would be great if we could fill every one!

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information detailing how to join the webinar.

Sponsored by: National Space Society Chapters’ Assembly and the Sacramento L5 Society.

Presenters from the earlier series (Apollo 11 through 16) are being invited to speak and possibly a special guest or two.

To experience the previous “Breakfast on the Moon” celebrations, please visit the Sacramento L5 YouTube site.
