March 7 Q&A with Dr. Shawna Pandya

The National Space Society Iowa Chapter, is happy to announce that thanks to Dr. Anthony Paustian and the 2023 “ciLive” program we will host an exclusive Q&A session with Dr. Shawna Pandya. One of Dr. Pandya’s many areas of interest and expertise is space medicine, a fascinating and timely field. So, make sure you have your questions ready—especially regarding space medicine.

Dr. Shawna Pandya is a physician, aquanaut, martial artist, advanced diver, and researcher. A graduate of the scientist-astronaut candidate program, she currently serves as Vice President of Immersive Medicine with Luxsonic Technologies and Director of Medical Research for the Orbital Assembly Corporation. As a Fellow of the Explorer’s Club, Shawna is passionate about the two ‘extremes’ of humanity––surviving and thriving. Her efforts are to further technological innovation and human knowledge while tackling life’s grandest challenges to affect positive change.
